SEPTER
The God Key
Independent
2006

Since I wet myself over Septer’s first CD, of course I had to snatch their sophomore release up. What’s different? Well, they’ve got a new singer, which in my opinion is much better than the one on the previous release. The songwriting is very much tighter than before, especially in the drums and guitar work, and the lyric writing. The band has very much matured.

So, what’s not different? This album is still M-E-T-A-L, of the old-school head banging, throw up the metal horns type of adrenaline-rush goodness that has been sorely missing in the recent metal scenes. Definitely a much better release. Can’t wait for future releases from the band, they’ve got something good going on here. Highly recommended…
