Sadly, it’s now a mainstream teaching that the miracles of Christ were not intended to testify to Who He was, but rather to set the standard for the Christian life.

However, those who teach this distortion aren’t living out the miraculous life of Jesus themselves. They may provide some sketchy anecdotes, but they are failing miserably to emulate the miracles of Jesus and they certainly aren’t doing greater works than He did.

Kolenda has also lectured people for not trying harder to raise people from the dead.

Folks, this is a crushing burden that God never intended you to bear. Miracles were God’s stamp of approval on Christ and His apostles…a seal of authority to authenticate the Gospel of God.

That Gospel is complete and the so called miracle workers of today have yet to demonstrate anything close to the standard of the New Testament. Mark and avoid those who require impossible things of you that they themselves don’t do.
